Parents and teachers work closely to- gether to make our school one in which the student can receive a richer education. Each year our P.T.A. sponsors a College Conference Day. On this occasion. students have the opportunity to con- verse with representatives from various colleges and uni- versities, and consider seriously the type of environment suit- able for the pursuit of higher education. The Henry S. Richards Scholarship as well as other P.T.A. Scholarships are awarded to deserving students. In addition. the P.T.A. has supplied Roosevelt with funds for necessary school equipment and has sponsored memorable social functions.
