MATHEMATICS Mathematics is the vital tool with which we enrich our minds with teachings and logic designed to strengthen our thought processes. Mathematics teaches the lesson of criti- cal analysis by which we can observe and draw thoughtful conclusions. Here at Roosevelt, we are guided through the great maze of mathematical ideas by competent and understanding instructors. Because of their patient efforts, we have devel- oped skills that are useful not only in mathematics but rather in all facets of life. The mathematician is a symbol of mans never ending quest for truth, everywhere the human mind probes. . W L. to R,: Mrs. Sherman, Mrs. Comparato, Miss Feigl.
