EXECUTIVE COUNCIL 'f Faced with the responsibility of conduct- ing an efficient student government, the Execu- tive Council headed b resident Gar Oka- , 1 Y P I Y moto and advised by Mrs. Mildred Waka- yama, carried out a successful program. During the 22nd annual Hawaii High School Government Association conference, the S council gained profitable information with which to begin the year. Meeting regularly M - with homeroom representatives, the Executive Council shared its problems and sought their o inions and advice. Problems were discussed P . . . and solutions were suggested, thereby facilitat- ing the decisions of the government. The council diligently selected standing committee members to assist them in the plan- ning of beneficial as well as entertaining func- tions. Among the successful activities were the Mistletoe Ball, several assemblies, football ral- lies, and the election of song and cheer leaders. Due to the steadfast participation and coopera- tion of the student body, it was possible for the Executive Council to sustain a most pro- ductive and fruitful year- GARY OKAMOTO President HOMEROOM REPRESENTATIVES.
