WONG Principal M- 7,5 W , MISS HORTENSE SCHWALLIE Vice-Principal ADMINISTRATION Several newcomers were added to the facul- ty this year, making the total administrative staff of Seventy-Seven the largest ever. Class- rooms hum daily, brought to life by the teachers who set forth and accomplish educational aims by stimulating and challenging the students to think, learn, and produce. A tremendous task has been placed upon the shoulders of these perceptors, With patience, firmness, and understanding, they conduct orderly classrooms, stimulate class discussions, and supervise canteens and dances. Participa- tion in important community events and ac- complishments recognized by awards were a few of their achievements. Students are encouraged to think realis- tically, interest and curiosity are instilled in a variety of subjects. Although their profes- sional aim is to inculcate knowledge, Roosevelt,s instructors also tend to bring about a spirit of cooperation among the students whether in a classroom, a committee meeting, or a school function. Because it has so diligently illuminated the footsteps of knowledge with the unwavering lanterns of Teddy's doctrines, the administra- tion has earned the gratitude and respect of the entire student body.
