To some of us, our counselors represented discipline, and the sight of the monitor bearing the familiar pink pass which summoned us out of class meant detention assignment. To others, they were patient and sagacious advisors. To most of us, however, they were a combination of both. We shall remember, with amusement, how the mere sight of them sent lingering stu- dents scurrying out of the cafeteria.
