Other senior scholastic football players were: Edward Barnes, Thomas Unger, Maurice Russell, Oliver Brilhante, and Roy Olsen. On the Roosevelt basketball team was Pershing Lo, who made the highest score of any player in the interscholastic league. Oliver Brilhante and Ramsey Sandlin were other outstanding players. The interscholastic Rifle Team, which broke several records this year, was aided by the shooting ability of George Goble, Frank Ballie, Harold l-looser, and Wesley Nowell. George Goble broke the individual high man record. The Boys' Swimming Team was reorganized this year and, although it offered but little competition in the annual Yale Meet, the seniors did their part in the persons of Wesley Nowell, Warland Kealoha, and Louis Snyder. Final festivities of the senior class began with Baccalaureate on May 25. The senior picnic at Camp Erdman followed on May 29. Class Day was on lune 2, Graduation and the senior prom were on lune 3, an unforgettable date. Much of the success of senior activities was possible only through the kind assistance of Mrs. Helen Carter, adviser, who gave untiringly her time, effort, and ability so that every event in the seniors' final few months in Roosevelt should be as nearly perfect and memorable as possible.
