Roosevelt’s Future Homemakers of America live up to the .vational goal — to further interest in Home Economics. Throughout this school year the F.H.A. girls have made frequent visits to their ward at the State Hospital. These visits bring joy to patients. The girls have a concession stand where they sell ice cream each day to sweeten their chapter kitty. This activity helps in sending delegates to state and regional F.H.A. meetings and also helps to pay for their various good-will projects. Among the yearly activities of the F.H.A. is the Christmas party for underprivileged children of the com- munity. This year the Swim Club and the F.H.A. combined their efforts for a fun afternoon of swimming with the OF ty afterwards.
