K. shi' ' ' BASKETBALL The Nlontieellu haskethall team consisted of seven seniors and four juniors. l'he seniors were -Ierry llruwn. Dick Roaeh as lurwards: Alim Sehuehler, llill Rallal as guards: Jerry Hoover as eenterg Bill U'Farrell as guard: Dean Carpenter as lurward. 'l'he lout' juniurs were Ruger Hush. jerry Haines as guards: Jack Meents. Dwight Douglas as forwards. The team had a very sttetaessltil season with thirteen wins and six losses. The parents and teachers sponsored a supper at the Staggs Gym at the close ul' the season for the team. Awards were given to all players and yell- leaders.
