The Tomahawk staff is the group of students who edit the school newspaper. Carol Cordes and Gwen Banks have been co-editors for the past two years. Gwen has been in charge of the feature section of the paper while Carol has edited the news portion. There have been eight issues of the Tomahawk this year with several new features. Bouquets and Brickbats is a cleverly written column by Sharon Long. Nancy Heims has constructed an amusing angle of getting more names in the paper through her interesting personals column. The Sunshine Society is an organiza- tion composed of all the girls of the high school: and the Braves Council is a similar club for the boys. The goals of each group are to foster better citizenship, morals, and to stress clean living. The Student Council is the organiza- tion oi the high school that represents the students in the affairs of the high school administration.
