Playing at plays, Commencement, P.T.A., the Spring Concert, and civic parades are a few of the many activities in which the high school band par- ticipates under the direction of Mr. Perdue Powlen. An outstanding feature of the band is marching for basketball and football games. There are about seventy members, including the three majorettes, who are Carol Darnstaedt, Alice Van Cleave, and Margaret Richardson.
