Bottom Row-Ed Van Deman, Elmer Price, lim Schuehler. The basketball team of 1950-1951 consisted of five seniors, tour juniors, and one sophomore. The seniors were Iim Clapper, Eddie Van Deman, Elmer Price, Eugene Hinshaw and Ioe Hintz. The juniors were Ierry Brown, Bill Kallal, Iim Schuehler, and Dick Roach. The sophomore player was lack Meentz. The record for the year was eleven wins and nine losses, which included the two wins from the New Year's Day Tourney. In the C.I.C., the record of four wins and five losses, put our team in sixth place. There are eleven teams in the conference. The wins were from Peru, Tipton, Rochester, and Alexandria. The losses were from Plymouth, Hartford City, Wabash, Muncie Burris, and Elwood. Monticello defeated Reynolds 48-33 in the first game of the Sectionals. They also won over Chalmers 53-37 in the second game, but were defeated by Brooks- ton in an overtime game, 41-38. QCP, , . PAGE NINETEEN

B.A.A. B.A.A. is the Boys' Athletic Associa- tion. They have scheduled volleyball, basketball and softball games during the noon hour. A point system has been set up whereby they may earn sweat- ers through participation in the dilferent sports. G.A.A. G.A.A. is the Girls' Athletic Associa- tion of the school. The organization is set up much like that of B.A.A. Through their participation in noon hour and outside activities, the girls may earn sweaters by a point system.
