Guess Wh0'S Wh0,'A MOST ATHLETIC: Most athletic this year was the blonde-haired. blue-eyed, eighteen-year- old Richard Adams. Richard was All-District tight end this year as well as Honorable Mentioned All District in basketball and Honorable Mentioned All South Plains Defensive end, and senior class reporter. Richard loves water and snow skiing and camping. He plans to go to Texas Tech after graduation and major in agriculture. Green-eyed Barbara Rose has been in athletics since her freshman year. It is no surprise to find Barbara's name heading the list of Most Athletic. ln basketball, Barbara received Hon- orable Mention three years in a row. Barbara also went to state two years in track. She was a member of the 1975 State Champ 440 Relay Team, and a state qualifier in the 440 and 880 runs in 1976 . Barbara also enjoys horse-back riding and swimming. 4 MOST FRIENDLY: As you walk down the halls of Roosevelt. you see many familiar faces. but one which is sure to be ready with a kind and friendly smile is the face of Abel Gaona. Perhaps Abel is so friendly because he enjoys people and believes that having friends is the most impor- tant thing in life. Abel is admired by his many friends in track, football, and all of his classes. After finishing school he wants to become a mechanic. To complete our friendly couple, Judy Holmes was declared Most Friendly girl. Judy's sweet smile and bright eyes can be seen everywhere she goes. She has been a varsity cheer- leader for the past three years and a student council representative for two. Her smile has helped Judy receive many offices and awaits, one of which was being nominated for Homecom- ALL. ing Queen. Judy plans to keep herself and her smile in our community as a Roosevelt Booster. 41N I2 ,Q . '1 F' gig 1:-'7 BEST LOOKING: There is one obvious reason why there is a title Best Looking. That reason is Kent McLeod. The 5'11 brown haired athlete has much more than just looks going for him, though. Kent's personality makes everyone feel like his friend. He was chosen Mr. RHS, one of the greatest honors a senior can receive. Kent was also senior class parliamentarian. After graduation Kent hopes to continue his education. His main goal is to lead a Christian life. Blonde-haired, blue-eyed, Connie Jordan, was chosen as our best looking girl. Connie has received many other honors as well. She was a varsity cheerleader her junior and senior years. Homecoming Queen and Miss RHS were two important titles Connie also received her senior year. Connie was band sweetheart her junior year and has held many offices. Connie not only has beauty on her side, she is also a very talented and charming human being. BEST DRESSED: Mike Sharp won the title Best Dressed in the boy's category, Mike always looks nice whether in jeans or a brand new suit. His favorite subject is Drama . Mike also enjoys hunting and collecting rifles. He is interested in drawing and sketching, and hopes to use both in the future since his main goal in life is to be successful, hopefully in drafting. Rhonda Byers, a 5'6 brunette, was also chosen Best Dressed. Everyone knows that Rhonda takes pride in her appearance and in herself. Rhonda has been a key member of FHA during all of her high school years. She picks Home and Family as her favorite subject. Rhonda has been a hard worker on the yearbook as well as in everything else she does. Bowling is her favorite hobby. God is the most important part of Rhonda's life. 20

Roosevelt I-Izgh School MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED: The very intelligent, forceful, Scott Mann was picked Most Likely to Succeed. Scott has always been very dynamic and persuasive. He was elected as Student Council President for the year '76-'77, and went to Boy's State the previous summer. Scott was Captain of the football team and made Honorable Mention All District Linebacker. Scott enjoys airplane flying. fishing, and reading. The 5'11 senior plans to go to college in Florida next fall. Throughout the years Michelle Smith has proven that she can succeed . For this reason she was chosen Most Likely to Succeed. Michelle was a varsity cheerleader her Junior and Senior year, as well as being active in FHA, NHS, Science Club, and the Thalians. Michelle has the drive and ability to gain whatever she desires. When her eyes begin to sparkle and her grin widens into a bright smile, her friends know that Michelle is thinking, planning, and perhaps dreaming for the future. 'st' ,-f-. ,,, MOST SINCERE Ray Ward Most Sincere joined the 1977 graduating class of Roosevelt High School during his freshman year. The eighteen-year-old has beautiful blue eyes which are full of sincerity. Ray enjoys football and water skiing as pastimes. Home and Family is his favorite subject and his friends mean more to him than anything in Roosevelt. Ray plans to go to college after he graduates at the end of May. Our most sincere girl was Becky Jones. Becky is always considerate and thoughtful of every- one. Her personal motto is, To love and be loved, to live and let live. The blue-eyed sen- ior names hot shots , liver, and Slaton under pet peeves. Becky has been an active member in Drama and FHA during her high school years and was HERO President this year. Becky's future plans include working full time and later getting married. l MOST SCHOLASTIC: Who can be found carrying a calculator, a chemistry folder, and an advanced math book all at the same time? Most Scholastic Charles Meador, of course. Charles has always been very intelligent and made very high grades. He has won many awards in Science and Number Sense competitions since entering high school. His favorite subject is Physics. During his free time, Charles enjoys fishing and hunting. The seventeen-year-old plans to further his education by attending college. Most Scholastic girl this year has Renae Thompson. Renae came to Roosevelt during her Junior year full of smiles and vitality. ln only two years Renae became Newspaper editor. Drama Club President, and a valttable member of FHA, NHS, and FTA. She has been in two District One-Act Plays and gone to contest twice in shorthand. This year she was picked senior class parliamentarian. The thing that means a lot to Renae is the old school song. MOST FLIRTATIOUS Most Flirtations male of the senior class was Danny Trammel. Danny is what one might call an all 'round cut-up. He was President of his Freshman class and class favorite his Sophomore year. Danny, with his cute grin and 'innocent' eyes. seems to attract the girls only too well. His future plans are to go to college and perhaps major in Physical Education. This is no shock to most people since Danny has been so active in basketball and other sports. Cassie Adams was a sttrprise choice as Most Flirtatious. Cassie received the title because of her beautiful smiles and bright eyes which natttrally attract men. Cassie, a twelve year stu- dent, spent most of her high school years working in various organizations. ln her spare time she enjoys swimming and the outdoors. She was a varsity cheerleader, senior class Vice-Presi- dent, and an officer in FTA and FHA. Cassie is a very outgoing person, full of charm, beauty, and poise.
