tgemiw A255 Jafifiwy As I look into my crystal ball, the mist slowly fades away, and I can clearly see the members of the senior class ten years from now in their chosen fields of endeavor. I see J. T. Wiley as a great prosecuting attorney in the courts of justice. Betty Lackey can be seen as an unmarried school teacher diligently waving the wand of higher learning. I can see Bobby Hester starting a career of auto racing after his recent graduation from Roosevelt high school. Newspaper headlines come into view announcing the appointment of Eddie Don Hemmeline to play in the 'All-Star' game in Chicago. Robert Wilks can be seen industriously making slogans for the 'Sky King program. A dark, handsome man can be seen pursuing La Honda Keeler until the day she catches him. Suzy Hettler can be seen leading her three children to the Saturday night shoot -em -up . The haze came back, but I can just make our Arlen Stennett as he gazes across his large cotton estate. Johnny Miller has just entered the Better Physique contest in New York City. Glena Speer is seen coaching her own basketball team at Podunk State College. I hear music and see Wayne Maines directing his Western Hotshot band in the Sand Bow1 at Acuff, Texas. Harold Carnes is seen hopefully taking singing lessons from Bing Crosby. There's a loud fanfare, and my crystal ball shows Nelda Rogers making her debut at Carnegie Hall. Rayburn Clark is seen on a soap box on the courthouse square loudly speaking for public rights. I seem to see a large crowd of people as they excitedly cheer after Benny Fults makes a home run in the 1962 World Series. D'Aun Weaver has just been crowned America's Ideal Homemaker of 1962. The future shows.Marlin Ferguson a space cadet in the service of the Space Patrol. There's a loud explosion as Grady Crossland busily makes fireworks for the Fourth of July. The mysterious green light of the future seems to be closing in, but I can just barely see N. D. Kelso in one of our famous state institutions. . . as a guard, of course.
