Sophomores mad ' their debut bj exam- ining all forms of literature for subject, theme, and style. Juniors, in their last year of required English, reviewed the heritage of American literature. Concentrating on the English culture, members of the senior class perused the norks of such master authors a lirovtning and Shakespeare. All students worked at developing ideas and expressing them through themes and essays. Speech ami journalism were also avail- able. Speech students perfected fundamen- tals of elocution.
