Seniors . . . It is not an astoundingly original observation that a class accomplishes its greatest work, achieves its highest grade average, and shows its greatest leadership during its senior year. The Roosevelt senior class realizes that the time to study, work, and accomplish its goals is short. It realizes that the time to learn, to work in activities, to work in ath- letics, to support our school is now. The Roosevelf senior recognizes that now is the time to become the well-rounded student. 16

They will be missed in future years because they carried the big stick well as leaders in the first semester. Among their ranks were excellent athletes, Merit Schol- arship Finalists, Leaders Club and All-state chorus members, actors, artists, Girls ' Club executives, and expert journalists.
