FacuHy , . . Basic to the development of a well-rounded student is the leadership of a competent faculty which is interested in all aspects of the student ' s intellectual and social progress. Roosevelt ' s teachers are more than competent educators. They are outstanding leaders of state educational organizations in their individual fields; they are enthusiastic sponsors of Roosevelt ' s numerous clubs; they are as avid fans of TRHS athletic teams as are the students. In the past two years, Roosevelt English teachers have sponsored winning students in the Iowa Poetry Association and Iowa Council of Teachers of English literary contests.
