STUDENT LIFE • Even more than the big events, it is the day-to-day happen- ings which, though interrupted by tests, recitations, and other inconveniences, add so much to our years in high school. In the last few days of their high school life, seniors can look back upon a wealth of experiences and memories: Eating breakfast in a park after presenting Junior themes to Mr. Ethington, decorating the school ' s Christmas tree, Mr. Morrison ' s Kipp Generator exploding, and 200 lines of poetry, to mention jush a few. Through it all we have come, we hope, relatively un- scathed and ready to face the future.

Demonstrating the maturity which has made them seniors, Chris Hagen and John Le- vine are measured tor caps and gowns by Carolyn Cobb. Never too busy to give an answer to a question, Mr. Ethington helps Alan Forker after school. • With the measuring for caps and gowns come the final days for a Roosevelt student. Although it is the day we have been looking forward to for thirteen long years, when that final day does arrive, most of us, although we probably won ' t admit it, will be just a little bit sad about it all. Although we ' re looking forward to college, a job, and all the excitement of the world of adults, we are still reluctant to leave the school which has given us so much. So now, while we still have time, we want to pause to say thank you to Theodore Roosevelt High School for all that it has done for us. As we go on through the remaining year of our life, we will remember it always. 23
