MISS EDITH JOHNSON MRS. BRIDGET SWEET MISS MARY HEGGEN REGISTRAR She has everyone of us at her fingertips---hidden away in the heavy-doored vault that is her office, Miss Heggen, TRHS registrar, has access to the case history of every Roosevelt student. She keeps all student records and transcripts, manages the school's functionary money affairs, is head of the office staff, and in general has a job very necessary to the smooth operation of the school day. Office Sfaff NURSES Amidst a menagerie of bottles, thermometers, throat swabs, bandages, cots, and medical smells Miss Johnson and Mrs. Sweet await ailing TRHS students in their second floor infirmary. The aver- age day for them sees cut fingers, sprained ankles, athletic bruises, throbbing headaches, and soaring temperatures. They were particularly swamped by grein-falged students during this year's Asiatic Flu out rea . Thanks to the office staff we at Roosevelt have mimeographed tests, the daily bulletin, special bulletins, and records of our absences and tardinesses. 'LMay I help you?', is familiar address of one of above four young ladies when visitors or students venture into TRHS office. They are fl to rl: Evelyn Klein, stenographer-clerk, Shirley Robinette, attendance clerk, Dona Thompson, stenographer-clerk, and part-time student typist, Rae Dean Lynn. 22
