june graduates Class officers Kohn Darby, Presidentp Myndell Ferstenield, Secretary, Pete Pruqlft, Sandra Miller, Girls Representative: Dennis O'Brien, Vice President: In the past three years. members oi the Iune class of 1956 were active in sports. extra-curricular activities and classes. There was the time the basketball team went to Iowa City, the class' sophomore year. Last year Roosevelt's football team was undefeated. This spring the musical show Ok1ahoma! was produced. When look- ing back. the Iune class will remember all the good times connected with these and many other activities. The class' final weeks at Roosevelt were spent in a round ot activities. The first mixer on April 20 was called a Heaven and Hell party and the theme was Come As You Were. The second C tr uuis for t hes Treasure-rg Mike Graham, Boys Representative. week in May held another mixer. The class picnic came on the twenty-third of May and all the ioy of being through with finals explained the great exuberance shown. The last few days held much fun and perhaps some sorrow too. Class Sermon on Iune 3, with Dr. Yeates as the speaker was solemn and yet inspir- ing. On Monday. the class met in Younkers Tea Room for the Banquet and a movie afterwards. Wednesday brought the Class Day program with all of its lun and impressiveness. Finally. the Commencement Exercises with Governor Leo Hoegh as speaker were held on Thursday. With all these last busy days. many sen- iors remember what a wonderful time they had at Roosevelt. anim? frUli3s 19
