:Tj SENICDRS The Senior Class of 1.953 directed most of its energy toward two activities: The Victor Herbert operetta, The Red Mill, and the traditional Senior Frolics. There being an unusual wealth of vocal talent in the class the Dramatics and Music Departments decided to venture into some- thing more ambitious than the usual Senior Play. The result of their labors, The Red Mill, was produced with great success on May 1. The extremely active calendar nearly crowded out the Senior Frolics, but a determined class and a co-operative faculty combined to present a smash Frolics on the night of April 17. Without a doubt the high point of the Senior activity was attend- ance at the State Basketball Tournament at Iowa City. A large portion of the class went and contributed to the fine record the school made there. SENIOR OFFICERS ROW ONE'-Jeanne Molsberry, Jay Ryan, Barbara Melvin. Row TWO-John McCammond, Gene Larsen, Jim Standefer. E191
