History repeats itself, — Hu- man nature does not change, or any other way you may wish to say it. One of Miss Ogden ' s classes was talk- ing about the western states and the troubles they have to contend with, when Howard Lyon sprang a new word on the group: They have poli gamy in Utah. Mr. Eastman: Does air in the ice box circulate in counterclockwise or clock- wise movement? Ted Savage: Yes, it does. Mr. Koch (after explaining about blood): Who says blood isn ' t living tissue? Eairburn Kurtz: That supply teacher. Mr. Carrot hers: What is one reason for a high tariff? Roy: It gives the Republicans a platform to stand on. Mr. Barnes: What is the most ex- pensive clay used for commercial pur- poses? Claire St Owe 11: Boncilla. Mr. Koch: What is the singular of bronchi? Ted Hall: Bronchitis. Mr. Carrothers: It seems to me that the people who are always talking are the ones who think that I give such ridiculous examination questions.
