For more than two decades our band has spread the fame of Kulpmont High School far and wide. Music lovers in our area have been alternately delighted by the sensuous symphonic melodies of the concert hall, and thrilled by the mili- tary marches on the football field. Our band has served our community at outdoor summer entertain- ments, and in commemorative parades on National Holidays. It has marched in parades in competition with other bands and has brought home numerous prizes. Never too large in numbers, our Blues and Whites have always impressed the public with their excellent music, perfect drills, and their corps of high-stepping majorettes. Professor D'Alexander has been director of the band since its incep- tion. As a member of Kulpmont's most talented musical family, he has a genuine love of good music and an ardent desire to inspire others to play it well. This tribute goes to him in recognition of his fine achievements to date. The city is buzzing with chatter of the gala celebration to be held in the elite Medos Mansion, located in the suburbs of the busy city. NAN MEDOS, proprietor of the restaurant, had long anticipated the all-important reunion, and seems to be much elated because AL MURAWSKI, a great comedian actor, will be present to play the part of Master of Ceremonies. It is a known fact that his attractive assistant, RUTH BROWN, will accompany him. For the pleasure of the music lovers celebrating the occasion, there will be the soft music of THERESA LONG and her famous all-girl orchestra, along with the voice of the most popular crooner of the day, WALT FESNIAK. The people of Kulpmont and the surrounding areas are startled by the announce- ment of GEORGE MOLNAR, a television news commentator, that the President of the United States, EDWARD DAVIES, will attend the much-talked-about affair, with PAT PONTO, his private secretary. George added that General RAY KALOKITAS will make a special flight across the Atlantic Ocean to be in Kulpmont on December 31. The four-star general will make the Hight in one of the latest airplanes designed by ED- WARD DURAN. As the daily paper, The Kulpmont Gazette, is printed, its female editor, BER- NICE WERY, points with pride to the columns of MICHALINE BUCKWASH, her chief reporter, whose most important assignment now is to cover all the news of the famous reunion. The comic page of the paper is filled with the ever-popular cartoons of ALEX LASKOSKI. The gossip column, by ANNA MAE WARHOLIC, says that RON MARSHALEK, a confirmed bachelor, will attend the affair alone, and that BILL YARZINSKY, operator of a lonely hearts club, has appointed PAT SECULA as his new secretary. The sport page contains comments of the successful football season at Kulpmont High School by the coach TONY SWATSKI. It also features an interview of RON YEZIERSKI, a famous ping-pong champion, by FRANK MIRAR- CHI, the spo1'ts editor. In the heart of the city, a shiny, new Cadillac belonging to JACK MALICK, man about town, is being driven by JOHN STAREGO, his chauffeur, to a large, mod- ern service station, owned and operated by EUGENE DURAN. The Duran Service Station is the scene of a heated argument between JOSEPH HUTCHKO, school direct- or, and TOM MUDRY, proprietor of a large trucking company, about the age of JO ANN PUPO, a much protographed model. RONNY DUBBS, conductor of a symphony orchestra, arrives with JOHN FUI.- GINITI, owner of the Fulginiti line of drug stores, and JIM PROSSER, a cigarette manufacturer, who has just returned from an important business engagement in California. The United States Air Force is being represented by Colonels MIKE STEWART, ANGELO SINOPOLI, and CHARLES CRINITI. MARION DE ANGELO and GERALDINE PEDRON, who are now beauticians, arrive in exquisite gowns made by ANNA WARGO, their seamstress. BOYS ABOUT BOBBETTE Boys About Bobbette is about Bobby Blaylock who, at sixteen, is still more toinboy than young lady . . . to the proud delight of her dad and neurotic distress of her mothe1'. lt is an unhappy coincidence that the Culture Club's annual fashion show, to be held at the Blaylock home, occurs on the same night that Bobby's football team, the Dirty Dozen, has a big game scheduled. All of Bobby's friends are modeling' in this event, and Mrs. Blaylock in her innermost heart has yearned to see Bobby in lace and silk and tulle make her appearance down the steps in the spotlight. But Bobby wouldn't think of letting her team down! She is an important part of the team . . . and morale builder . . . especially for Socko, th.e shy, husky-voiced captain of the team. But things take on a much different perspective when Bobby learns that pretty feminine Frieda Fish is teaching Socko to dance . . . not only Socko, but Shammyneck and Pieface too!
