The Girls' Athletic Association QGAAJ enables girls interested in athletics to participate more actively than can be done in Gym class and to accumulate points toward an award. The girls engage in basketball, volleyball, bowling, and softball. The point requirements are: 300 points - - - - - - small letter 700 points - - - - large letter 1200 points - - - - pin You have never lived until you have seen Kathleen Gaines in her jump-ball posture in basketball, or Shirley Hopp meander down the approach in the bowl ing establishment, In spite of it all, Mrs. Gamelin, their sponsor, seems to survive - perhaps her own memories restrain any impatience.

The cheerleaders have a get-together with the op- position. I wonder where Sevens learned to oggle like that. Like master, like dog! Come on, Carol, you're bigger than she: if you want to fight, sign up for the boxing show! Recommended form in Madame La Gamelin's School of Dancing is shown at the right. Don't shove, girls: that little ball isn't going anywhere. The Lion's Club showed up en masse for the football banquet. The white flag? Could be they are so stuffed they give up, or they want a milk refill, or do you suppose the speaker forgot to look at his watch? The small fry on the right seem to enjoy watching the R Club warm up for the annual game with the Detroit Lions. And on the left Fred Falk gives his all in a mighty leap, but Reichow cheated - he jumped!
