CLASS PROPHECY Dear Sir,---It seems that I'll never get any farther. I've been trying to write to the President to get permission for Susan Enevoldsen and I to go to Mars and establish a hospital for research there. One never knows how to write a business letter to a friend and I just must write this to Bob Ziegler now. I'll have to get permission from the governor of Ohio, too. I wonder who will get the election. It doesn't much matter to me who is governor since both candidates graduated in '48, Yes, Bill Rose and Junie Frost are still arguing politics. When will they stop? I remember how they always argued in P. A. D. Oh Yes, I'll have to see if we can get a seat on Benton Jones's Rocket ship. I hear that he is today's greatest explorer. As long as we are going to Mars we may as well stop at Pluto to watch .Io Ann in her new play. I just must have a new outfit. I think I'll go up to Mary Barnes' Fifth Avenue shop and see if Betty Boles can fit me in a new dress. I hope that I can get a dress to go well with the new lipstick I got an Donna .Tean's drug store. What an exciting shade- Donna's Up and Catch 'Em Lipstick. That reminds me, I saw Junior Burton in front of the .Tally Grill as I was going to Donna's and he was pushing a baby buggy with a dozen little Redheads running along behind. Oh the baby is the cutest child. He looks just like Patty. Virginia Wheaton and George Karl Ogg are married. George Karl had taken his father's janitor place at Stewart High School. Have you seen Floyd Dillinger lately? He owns the largest bank in the world and does he dress! My Goodness! Those muscles just bulge. Donald Poston was in the bank when I went in. He is still trying to decide what his future occupation will be and who his future wife will be. Hurry up and make up your mind Bud. Dale has a garage in the middle of New York. I-le has invented a modern- ized model A airplane. He swears that it is as much better than the rest of the airplanes as the model A car was better than the other cars. Katherine and Sammy have joined together in a world chain store called the Cousins and Burn. It is similar to the old Cussins and Fearn. Dale Parsons told me that Virgil Scott and Carmelita Pringle are married and Carmelita has her twenty-fourth child.
