Sl . 4 , , , 1 ' , A v J , ' V: ' A f ' 1 ' ' I I Before we realized it, we were in the tenth grade and at Senior High! That year, 1 1 I A 1 - I A 4 I , , , , , , 1 ' , f when the Roman staff was chosen, Student Council oxcers for the coming yea' we'e eected, and when we received our class rings. August 30, l95ol This year had inaliy arrived: 'Ne nad fewer new students this year, out those few came from Berry, Calhoun, Dalton, Jonesboro, Albany, Georgiaf l-lolt, Alabama, Miami, Florida, and one from so far away as California. We all became very busy, never seeming to have enough time for everything. Our lessons were harder than ever this year, we've been kept busy getting senior math, chemistry, French or Span- ish, home ec, short hand, or what not. Our magazine sale proved very successful. X-n excellent annual staff was selected. As always, homecoming was great. Everyone was busy selling everything imaginable to make money and decorating for the floats and dance. We elected a beautiful queen and court. The senior December dance, Winter Wonderland, was greatly enjoyed by everyone who attended it. Then came exams, senior themes, kid day, and other events. Graduation wall be in a very few days. When we think about these days in the years to come, we shall remember all the good times we had at good old Rome High. s V fm., ff 8 'se ,fxy f muff, wa 2.
