By the way, BETTYE IO SAT- TERFIELD and MARIAN FORD are employed under her. They have been sent to Spain to try out some of her high school S anish and find out how much those Spaniards really know agout their language. VIRGINIA SMITH with the encouragement of EVELYN FOR- RESTER is still trying to grow tall. FRANKIE GAMMON is still wondering how she should pro- nounce her last name. Is it Monta-g or Montage. MARTHA IACKSON has finally landed a red-headed boy. ANITA POPE is still making her frequent trips to Atlanta and back, on the Greyhound bus. BONZIE LACHMAN has become Love's business manager at Girls Hi. HELEN PERRYIS heart is still at Berry School. It should be. She owns the place. ANNIE HUDGINS is still oing to town on that Big Bass Drum. She plays with The Salvation Army Band. MARY ALICE ADAMS has one North where she owns a shoe store which she calls, Sou51ern Comfort. DORIS WALLACE has become a librarian. Her quiet ways have finally been noticed. Another in the teachin profession is DOROTHY SILVER. She teaches shorthand with aiittle Spanish on the side. REBECCA CURTIS has gone far with her ability to blow a bugle. She has taken up the trumpet and put Harry Iames in the shade. IUANITA COCI-IRAN is working as a model for Drene Sham- poo Co. I always said her beautiful hair would bring her fame some day. MARGIE HOLLAND and BERTIs ROBERSON have opened a Florist Shop. Their neatness and artistic ability are really being used now. BOBBIE CARTER has obtained a B. S. A. B. or a Ph. D. at the University of Georgia where she is Dean of Girls. I still can't understand what made her select that certain college to go to. IANE BARRETT is now keeper of a pet shop. She specializes in eels, tigers and elephants. BETTY ZANE ONES is now a model for the Teethly Tooth Paste ads. I'll t her jaws get tired. . AGNES HILL owns an ambulance company in Summerville. Wonder why she chose that town. VIRGINIA Hicxs and BETTY FRICKS have a job in a side show. The only thing we don't know is which one is now called Skinny and which one Fatty . MILDRED CALLAN has finally gotten her heart's desire. She is singing now with Fred Waring and his Hoosier Hot Shots. -BERNICE BYARS now teaches Home Economics at Boys' High. Oh, yes, I wonder if everyone is still calling her Bes- sie . Guess who is the sole owner of Vick's Pharmacy? IMOGENE PHELPS. IOYCE ROBBINS has taken the job of Lab-technician at McCalls. Someone by the name of David assists her. Work- ing at the same hospital is LOUISE RICHARDSON. SARAH WATTERS is still using Sears, Roebuck catalogues. ROSE MAE CANTRELL and MARGARENE SWIFT have opened a business of their own where they are finding easier methods to learn shorthand besides studying it. MILDRED IACKSON is now head nurse at Harbin's Clinic. She spends her day wrapping burned hands of the students study- ing Chemistry under the new teacher, NANCY LEHNING. And while we're on this subject, uess who is teaching at Girl's High now,--IUNE THOMAS and EVELYN RUDD. SUSAN DEFRESE has retired and is living at Myrtle Beach. Sjheksitill can't decide who to marry, Baby, McRay, or maybe ic . ANN IRVIN has moved to Egypt and become the favorite wife of the Sultan. He was first attracted to ANN when he witnessed her interpretation of the dance of the Seven Veils. SULANE SHAW and ANN LATIMI-:R are still campaignin for National Woman's Suffrage. For some reason IIMMIE ISELL WHITE refused to be drawn into the campaign. Instead she established a hospital to care for the victims of the campaign. BETTY and IERI SMITH have obtained the job as speaker of house in the Georgia State Legislature, helping in the National Woman's Suffrage Campaign. They obtained this job from their experiment in giving quite long and convincing composi- tions in English. ANNIE LEE and EVELYN KILGORE have opened a large eating place called the K and K Cafe. MAE RHINA FITzsIMMoNs is working with a new institution for absentminded people. Evidently it hasn't done her much good. She is still leaving her glasses at home as she did so many times in her school days. EVELYN PUTMAN owns every library in the state of Georgia. She Ialways did like to read but I dxdn't know till now how muc . BONNIE SHIVER has perfected an entirel new and different way to write shorthand and also a new method of typing. She was alwa s told that she would accomplish somethin along that line but we didn't think she would take us seriousfy. FAYNELLE and BETTY IONES are now rofessional basket- ball layers. They boast such stars as RIIARGARET CARTER and FRANCES JONES. They are to basketball what chickens are to Mxss WATKINS. LANELLE JONES likes the simple life. She is married to a certain football number she went with for such a long time in High School and has seven children and a farm. IUNE DUNWOODY and BARBARA GRESHAM are now singing with the Metropolitan Opera Company where they star in the opera Girls ofthe Golden West. BETTY WEEKS and CAROLYN SHAW have been hired by the DeSoto Theater to be resent at all of their movies. The pur- pose for this is that tiiey are to laugh at everything on the screen so that the audience will think it funny. Why not? They laugh all the time anyway.
