I Rain-drenched but nostalgic, the half-time ceremony at the R.F.A. vs. Amsterdam game was a success. R. F.A.'s majorettes led the show with boxes of floating balloons and, of course, the R.F.A.Band. The crowning of Shelley Gardner as Fall Queen and her court, Ann Cianfrocco, Cathy Coviello, and Wendy Calnero, cli- maxed the evening's entertainment. Early Saturday morning several S. T.A.S. members headed by Mr. Don Boardman began the massive task of disguising the boys' gym into a fall country1 setting. With a ceiling of balloons, scattered tables, jack-o- lanterns, and the tunes of Train, R.F.A.'s semi-formal was ready to be unveiled. The dropping of the ceiling and the popping of balloons ended a great evening of entertainment for all those who attended. On Sunday, students shed their suits and dresses and replaced them with jeans and T-shirts for the Olympics . Pie-throws and a greased pig contest represented tough tests of strength and endurance for all the Rome Free Acdnny's Fall Weekend '73 gave birth to wonderful memories for the past year and several new ideas for the anticipated one.

Fall Weekend '73 Beginning with a float parade on Friday after- noon, November 2, R.F.A.'s Fall Weekend '73 got off to its official start. Several clubs spent many hours constructing their own original mobile structure. A trek through downtown Rome began immediately after school. The floats were also paraded at half-time of that night's football game where the 1st place award was given to Student Association's Log Cabin. 10

Led by advisor Martha Ann Frasca, each squad practices once a week to perfect old routines and develop new ones. New members are selected each spring after a one week practice session.
