Black Knights coached by Don Bruce, Tom Hoke and Tom Myslinski and captained by Ed Richards and Steve Telander finished the season with an impressive 6-2-0 record with the only losses coming against 10th ranked Nottingham and 7th ranked Notre Dame. This fine record was made possible through the hard work and dedica- tion of the team's 15 seniors, 19 underclassmen, and 3 coaches. Finish- ing second in the C.O.L., the Knights placed 7 men on the C.O.L. All- Star Team: Backs Ed Richards, Tony Coleman and Steve Shoemaker, Linemen John Malorzo, Steve Telander, and Kevin O'Connell with Bill Riley and Mike Tucker named as alternates. Fall Weekend '73 Beginning with a float parade on Friday after- noon, November 2, R.F.A.'s Fall Weekend '73 got off to its official start. Several clubs spent many hours constructing their own original mobile structure. A trek through downtown Rome began immediately after school. The floats were also paraded at half-time of that night's football game where the 1st place award was given to Student Association's Log Cabin. 10
