Flexibility is reflected in the structure of vocational and non-vocational curricula at Rome Free Academy. The Language Department at Rome Free Academy consists of both modern and classic- al languages. Four levels are offered in French, Spanish, Italian and Latin, and three levels are taught in German and Russian. Level I empha- sizes listening and speaking skills, Level II, grammar and reading. Level III seeks to develop further previously learned skills and Level IV stresses reading and writing skills through study of literature and current periodicals.
