- £ se Somer . — ——- = Mr. Lowerre Mr. Pascucci Superintendent and Board of Education The Superintendent of schools, Walter Lowerre, and the Board of Education supervise all the public schools in Rome. They set up the school calendar, plan a curriculum for the schools, and hire the teach- ers. Mrs. Hirtenstein, Mrs. Imler Mrs. Dunham, Mrs. Parry Teachers Aides The teacher aides are in charge of keeping order in the halls of R.F.A. Their duties are to supervise loading and unloading of buses, pro- mote peace in the cafeteria area during lunches, and make sure students in the halls don’t disturb those in classes. Mrs. Sager, Mrs. Patchen, Mrs. Volk, Mrs. Gualtieri, Mrs. Argensio, Mrs Winkler Mrs. Chemelli, Mrs. DeMatteo, Mrs. White Office Staff The duties of the clerks in the main office at R.F.A. are many and varied. Many people do not realize that the responsibility of seeing that the seniors are ready for grad- uation in June, is work that begins as soon as school-starts in September. Other duties of the office staff are coordinat- ing the budgets for all departments in R.F.A., checking in supplies, recieving telephone messages, and doing secretar- ial work. Data Processing This department, consisting of Mr. Capoccia, four key- punch clerks and two computer operators, perform admin- istrative tasks for the following school districts: Rome, V.V.S., Oneida, Camden, Hamilton, Morrisville, Madison, and Stockbridge. Our functions performed are attendance reporting, stu- dent scheduling, grade reporting, student census, payroll, accounting, inventory etc. In addition, students within R.F.A., Staley, Strough, and B.O.C.E.S. use the computer extensively for educational purposes.
