Marjorie Mortis The Special Education course includes health, English, history, and math plus some regular occu- pational courses. Classes are held in room 146 behind the auditorium. LIBRARY The library houses our script books, and the librarians stand ever ready to help the cast research their parts. Be- sides the usual fiction and non-fiction, a whole case in the library is devoted to Shakespeare’s writings, another contains college catalogs, and the classroom in the back contains the colorful oversized books which are too large for the shelves in the main library room. Eleanore Doty, Janet Beam DRIVER EDUCATION Edwin Rapke, George Wynne, Richard Gifford Connie McConnell, Joan Guy 19 These men really keep “the show on the road” by teaching procedures of safe transportation for our cast. This half-year course, open to seniors and juniors at least 16 years old, provides not only classroom instruction, but also si- mulator training and actual behind-the- wheel experience in driving a car. SPECIAL EDUCATION Shirley Guy The school nurses help to keep our cast in good health. They administer first aid to the wounded, provide couches for the sick, and excuse those who are too ill to finish the day. Other special jobs in- clude helping with the sophomore physi- cals and the tuberculin test given to some seniors.
