Besides sewing, in- terested students can take cooking, child care, home nursing, gracious living, and personal and family problems. All courses last for one semester and give % credit toward graduation.

Guy Nasci a if Margaret Hubbell, Brian Kelly, Lura Bellamy This artistic group designs and paints the scenery for our play. Talented students have such courses as drawing and painting, design, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, interior design, oil painting, watercolor, photogra- phy, advertising, stage or textile design, and graphics. Mr. Kelly teachs . mechanical drawing, and Mrs. Hubbell and Miss Bel- lamy also help with the school proms and plays. MUSICAL SCORE The two bands, the orchestra, and the two choirs provide sound effects under the direction of our three musicmen. Private voice and instrument lessons as well as string and woodwinds quartets and quintets are encouraged. The Wind and Percussion Ensemble makes an annual exchange concert, the choir appears on T.V. at Christmas time, and the orchestra stars in the String Jamboree in the spring. PHYSICAL EDUCATION Ruth Demers Sue Gardner The Physical Education Department keeps the cast in good shape for the play. Students participate quite vigorously in re- quired gym classes; optional intramurals and inter-school teams are offered. During the three years, girls are presented a variety of sports including archery, soccer, field hockey, golf, tennis, bas- ketball, volleyball, and gymnastics; the boys are offered football, handball, wrestling, track and field, and circuit training. rn ae MEN’S PHYS.
