They teach algebra, geometry, trigonome- try, even calculus, and Fortran computer programming techniques in many advanced courses. The new addition to the math depart- ment this year is an advanced placement math course for seniors who will take a special exam and possibly gain college credit for their advanced work. Guy Nasci a if Margaret Hubbell, Brian Kelly, Lura Bellamy This artistic group designs and paints the scenery for our play. Talented students have such courses as drawing and painting, design, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, interior design, oil painting, watercolor, photogra- phy, advertising, stage or textile design, and graphics. Mr. Kelly teachs . mechanical drawing, and Mrs. Hubbell and Miss Bel- lamy also help with the school proms and plays. MUSICAL SCORE The two bands, the orchestra, and the two choirs provide sound effects under the direction of our three musicmen. Private voice and instrument lessons as well as string and woodwinds quartets and quintets are encouraged. The Wind and Percussion Ensemble makes an annual exchange concert, the choir appears on T.V. at Christmas time, and the orchestra stars in the String Jamboree in the spring.
