RETIREMENT Mrs. Esther Copia Mrs. Esther Copia has been with Rome Free Academy for 36 years and has been active in many fields of school endeavor in which her untiring patience and understanding have been an inspira- tion to all who have worked with her. She was, at one time, sponsor of the Knitting Club, in Red Cross, in charge of the Bookstore, in Civil Defense, and on several Advisory Committees for the welfare of students. As a bookkeeping instructor, she was thorough and accurate while treating her students as equals. Mrs. Copia was never too busy to stop and help any student; in return, she can be assured that her students will never be too busy to remember her.
