Dedication We, the class of 1961, enthusiastically dedicate this year’s De-O-Wain-Sta to Mr. JOSEPH UVANNI, a chemistry teacher at Rome Free Academy. Not only has he gained the respect of his students, but he has earned their friendship as well. Mr. Uvanni’s sense of justice, quick humor, and thorough teaching methods are traits which we all admire. He has al- ways shown an interest in R.F.A. students and their activities, both inside and outside the classroom. Therefore, we, the Rome Free Academy class of 1961, because we believe Joseph Uvanni to be one of the finest individuals we know, give him this special salute in our yearbook.

We hope that Rome Free Acad- emy has served you in this capacity during the years you have spent here — that, like a mother, her guidance and inspiration have led you to do your best work.
