The class of 1960 has had the privilege of being taught and influenced toward good through the tireless efforts of one who has devoted her life to the service of enlightening others. Miss Louise Kingsley, our activity co-ordinator, our teacher, and our friend. has been a valued aid in study and an ever-present help in our class activities. Though we have seemed, unfortunately, to have taken her efforts, as well as the efforts of others, for granted, in the thoughtless way students are prone to do, the wonderful work she has done, has immeasurably added to the level of activity at Rome Free Academy. Though we are sorry for the classes that follow, who will have to do without her service and friendship, we are glad that she chose to teach us this year, the last before what we hope will be a long and happy retirement, in which she may, perhaps, get to participate in some of those things which she sacrificed in order to help us. It would be impossible to determine the amount of good she has done for RFA through the years, even less to thank her adequately. We can only express sincere appreciation for the help she has been in the short moment we have been here as a class, knowing that praise and glory were not the goals she esteemed most high when she chose the path of service. SMILING SUNS HAVE THOUGHTS INFLAMED.
