CARL S. PAIGE Principal We see our principal every day in Rome Free Academy and feel that we know him. Yet, we do not know him until we review his school and sports records. Mr. Paige attended Ogdensburg Free Academy and then St. Lawrence University where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He participated in football, basketball, track and wrestling. Before coming to Rome, he was assistant principal of Cmouverneur High School, and principal of Norwood High School. At one time he was president of St. Lawrence County Schoolmen's Association. At present he is treasurer of Section Ill, New York State Public High School Athletic Association and is president of Central Oneida League. The class of 1946 will remember our happy days at R. F. A. under his guidance.
