KATHY KILLION 165 THE GUILD This year for the Guild was not an all good year. In fact, it wasn ' t Murphye or McVay year either. To add to it Chip deactivated and has now turned over a new leaf. In spite of our losses we gained Speedo, Adam O, Ned, and Sparky. What a rush! Since then Sparky left but it didn ' t matter because Donovan came back. C ' mon ret. Scotty celebrated his twenty-seventh birthday and was in good spirits. (See you next year) For Crash everything went Ship-shape even though he didn ' t get wrecked this year. Thurston Tuttle was filled with Sherry and is still in search of his team. Neil is still asking is Owen back this year? It ' s getting ridiculous to even ask. Phillips found the keys to happiness in Lou of the rigger. To the moon. We ' ll mourn the loss of Brewster McBride. He ' ll be difting on, no longer cooped up at Rollins. Braak. In spite of another de-activation we still had the fury of the spic living with us. We also had the Rio treat of living with Reeves for another year. B. F. Cathcart couldn ' t get the words to Go Down Moses and is still looking for a Foxey lady. And Charlie Hefner, still at a young age was almost in the red this year. Buy another new rug and give yourself a pat on the back. Martinique was pegged for a Sterling honeymoon this year. I ' m sure they ' ll hash it out. Marty came to grips with stark reality and all he would mutter was ech. Another pat on the back. Cap cornered Blaize again it seems there has been a boon in apple farming and he wants to get down to the core of the problem. I ' m surprised that old pig made it. This was the Chiefs last year also. We all hope everything will be dandy for Lyons. Nick was asked to play the part of Vince Lombardi in an upcoming movie but turned it down because he ' d miss Dragnet. By sheer luck Nick may not be a Vestal virgin. Bowman was dyin ' for a woman but it was hard, man. He just wasn ' t cast for the part. Sharts was in India winter term hopefully learning sign language. Speading of learning, there ' s still a ray of hope that Dave and John will keep at it. Rich had a bon year with his new electric comb. Maybe it would help his plants. Sunshine took Melissa to see Larry this year and cut a mono record winter term. Zeeee (Foom-Foom). The maintenance de- partment had to add a few steps as the tower got higher this year (Whose car is that in the resident head spot?) McKenna ' s gold never came through but he ' s still dreaming of some holly. Hugh showed us his home-grown sister this year. Another mirror image. Finally a thanks to those without whom this year wouldn ' t have been possible. Peter M. Richard M. N. Pat E. Lou W. Peter Goz. Pat O. CapC. Liz H. King T. Doc C. Marilyn B. Claude K. Melanie F. Our congratulations to Marni for getting the job done in California and to Lynne for coming back. We are happy to announce that Kim found her pot of gold at the end of the rainbow and that you are never too old as Betsie rediscovered her youth . Deedee became Queen for a Day , Alice hit a new high at the Orlando Police Station, and because of her excellent achievements in the field of elementary education we now entrust all of our children to Miss Marcia. Our thanks to Amy for leaving Winter Term to give the rest of us a chance. Did someone ask where Diana was? Our luck goes to Schwartz for a good show ... at Wimbledon. Candy went Hawaiian, sort of, but now she ' s wearing her Bobby socks. Rumor has it that Karen ' s best friend is Rubby Ducky, and if anyone ' s in search of a cold bath, they can find one on tap at Elsie ' s. Cece will be starting a Home Economics class at Rollins, and Gidget will be the first to enroll. Cindy Dreams of Jeanie with the long Blonde Hair, Andrea knows the value of a well-turned ankle, and have you heard about Fran and her wrecks? Due to un- forseen circumstances. Dale will remain as a full time student for the next twenty-five years. To our pledges, good luck! And then there ' s Jamie — we think — but where?? In our first year as a local organiza- tion many of the brothers have finally realized their potential in various fields. Tom Matthews, for example, chaired a committee which aided the Winter Park Police Department in combat- ting the rising rate of alcoholism with special emphasis on driving while intoxicated. Mark Aspinwall has realized his ability in the business world shown by his stellar grades in Crummer. Lee Berger and Jim Berry gratefully donated their services by teaching a sex-education course at a local school. Bert O ' Neill has also been into various things too numerous to mention. Dan Kinney has been realizing great gains since purchasing Beaver Stocks, Inc. Bob Winslow and Mark Frei dinger have been working with the Physically retarded in trying to teach them to play Jai-Alai. Chris Fusco. Bandy Xenakis and Tom Cavicchi have a new college dating service in the works. Dave McComb has aided them immensely de- spite a severe sunburn on the back of his neck. Bill Shetter and Dave Troxel are engaged in various community projects. Dana Consler and Stobie Whitmore are still writing graffiti on bathroom walls, while Mike Slagle was impressed by the machines on the bathroom wall at the FBI. Carty pleaded with us not to screw her in the yearbook but don ' t worry Toni, Everybody loves it. Toni, we also loved the fact that you gave Santa Claus more than milk and cookies this year! Hill (FH) Sandee ' s famous saying was I ' m going to snake a snake. But remember San dee, two snakes in the bush are worth much more than one snake in the hand. Kit — Next . . . Jojo — which sookie did you get at Pup City? Benson — Scarlet Lee declares once more that lips that touch liquor will never touch mine. Don ' t give in, Sherly. Atwood — Buff tried to point out the elements of Physics to Mary — or was it Biology? Couzens — Sarah Ellen got mixed up and thought Andy Williams sang Blue Hawaii. Crutchfield — You got the high school ring now where ' s the letter sweater? Yesner — Famous quote — Yes mother, I did. Incidentally Steve, the rabbit died. Kibler — Get out of the trash can, its time to go home. King — We know it is Fred and always will be. Don ' t kid us. Berry — Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnson III and their son, Eric. Werum — Annie, what were you doing at 6:00 am the morning of the Senior Party, walking the dog? Cissie — Every house needs someone to offset the bitches. Burns — That ' s real companionship — holding hands while getting sick at the same time. Caroline — Thank God for visita- tion, single rooms and Bruce. Cynthia ' s favorite saying — I ' m too big for this place. If that is so, why are you still here? Terry — If you save your pennies you might be able to buy a pair of binoculars to look at the Back Door. Dinny — I just can ' t understand why so many good looking girls just sit in. You can dress her up but you still can ' t take her anywhere. Hicks — How was chicken woman at the Club Juana? Really Gardner, is that any place to take a girl? Eichleburger — feels she ' s too mature for the boys at Rollins, so she found herself a 74 year old sugar daddy — I ' m sorry, Marianne — He ' s only 65. Schaetzel — spent the entire year in menopause — disregarding that, she was a great President! Eiselman — You didn ' t get lonely Winter term, did you? Andres — Andi acquired a new roommate . . . and we don ' t mean Ralph! Cooper — Sweathog had a big year as Meredith ' s favorite . . . nice language Margie! Barb Dunlap — My name is Bob, B-A-R-B. Terry — A little speech therapy would help that mid-western nasal draw. No maybe a lot. Cris — Really, Cris, we ' re not trying to snake your date. Reed — The tiny groover out to study a bit more. Pam — If you ' re ever looking for Pam, check the stacks, she ' s probably sleeping there. Butsie — Was there really a fire drill in New Hall that night? Hedwig — The way to Hedwig is not through her heart, but through her stomach. Rockhill — SUPER JOCK! Bevan — Our first pledge to get the tongue trophy . . . she deserves it! Harkins — Another one in the Sandy Burns syndrome — will KKG make her hard- core? Barb Berry — A vanishing act with her sister. Wendy Jackson — The psychedelic pledge. Lee Morris — The fastest talker this side of Lake Virginia. Kathy Winge — Kathy, that laugh has got to go! Last but not least, the Kappa ' s must say good-bye to Mercer and Charles. They haven ' t done anything out of the ordinary this year to warrent a hang-up in the year beek. All we can say is that they are the best Senior Class ever — maybe not in quantity but in quality. Sincerely, Mercer and Charles KAPPA KAPPA GAMMA DELTA EPSILON CHAPTER 1. BARB DUNLAP 2. KIT IVEY 3. They finally got moved out of that ridiculous thing the college called a living facility. Comforting thought to know it only took 47 minutes to tear it down and cart it away . . . Anyway, its about time to get down to the business at hand: insulting all those persons who came around often enough for us to find out some of their faults. By the way, we hope you all have a lousy summer . . Congratulations to CHUCKIEPOO for letting Susan push you around for another year. Just because C, B, and G seems to swinging on a financiala tightrope, we think you might best pay more frequent visits to the Lambda house. To DICK BETHEA, hope you can find a group of guys that talk alike and dress alike (and wear the same funny glasses) so you can follow em around. MARTY GREENE — what c n you say about a gut who pays a girl $50 to fly in from Washington and dump on him. No, DINGbat, we didn ' t cram towels in the johns so that moss would grow on your ceiling. But now that you mention it . . . FINN — we know that it was a shock to discover (again) that a 2.5 is not a C+ at Rollins. PENDERY really knows how to live it up in style. I stand amid the eternal ways, And what is mine shall know my face. Asleep, awake, by night or day, The friends I seek are seeking me; No wind can drive my bark astray, Nor change the tide of destiny. What matter if I stand alone?
