ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF Sitting: Mrs. Kathleen Campbell, 208 Interlachen Avenue; Mrs. Pearl Poncoast, Hooker Hall; Mrs. Margaret Fitzgerald, Strong Hall. Stand- ing: Mrs. Cornelia Weber, Lucy Cross Hall; Mrs. Alice Burke, Chase Hall; Mrs. Mary James, Lakeside Hall; Mrs. Ruby Marshall, Pine- hurst Hall; Mrs. Leone Hallenberg, Corrin Hall; Not Pictured: Miss Ellen Apperson, Caroline Fox Hall; Mrs. Margery Brown, Mayflower Hall; Mrs. Georgia Enwright, Pugsley Hall; Mrs. Marion Wilcox, Cloverleaf Hall. RESIDENT HEADS Of all the staff the resident head has the closest contact with the students. Versatility is a must, for she is both a friend and advisor to the residents as well as a gracious hostess for the house. Her tasks range from bandaging cuts to administering mild disciplinary action. For her understanding, patience, and forebearance we owe a tremendous debt of gratitude, a debt which is impossible to express in words alone; yet the Tomokan, on behalf of the stu- dent body would like to offer our sincere thanks to these modest queens of the campus. 26
