We study for 65,200 minutes, we exercise for 8.100 minutes, and we relax in our outside activities for 8,600 minutes. Our studies prepare us for the future. Our exercise keeps us trim and physically fit. Our relaxation aids our physical and mental well-being. We should not waste these precious minutes, for the hours of youth quickly pass and are never repeated. Time, that often fleeting but sometimes stationary aspect of life, can not be captured nor held for long. The days that seem to go too slowly when studies and books are at hand, soon race along when graduation day approaches. Time is not to be grasped and held, but to be made rich in memories, dreams, and fulfillment for Rolling students. 2 In this time of a more critical look at education the Rolling Prairie School Faculty and Administrative staff have designed a plan to further the development of useful citizens so that they may be prepared to take their place in the world of tomorrow. Our plan permits a wide variation of experiences so that a pupil may prepare for higher education or may receive specialized training in the business or industrial field. The record made by pupils in this school becomes a part of the perma-nent files so that it may be helpful to employers and to the students who are earnestly seeking advancement. The Administrative staff. Guidance department and Faculty stand ready to help all students seeking advice and all parents who need and wish counsel. The school exists to help in educating the youth of today. Now is the time for every one to shoulder the educational problem. John R. FOOT Lack of experience and shortage of material proved to be a major difficulty. However, with the game-experienced men returning next year we should be in much better shape for the next season. In the elementary grades our children are very close to their teachers. As they look back on the happenings and achievements, they are often tied ii with memories of certain teachers. Many here learr that an honest effort must be made, that there is nc excuse for half trying. They learn that firmness anc kindness go together. We want so much to grow up, but after we have grown up, we often get keen pleasure in remembering our elementary school days. acu it Mrj.
