Music has been defined as the art of combining tones to form expressive composi- tions, however to RMHS choral students music is the tool which helps them grow socially and aids in the development of their individuality. The Choral groups performed at numerous concerts during the year. The Freshman and Sophomore Treble choirs sang three and four concerts respectively. The Varsity and Concert choirs, in addition to their annual concerts, performed at many elementary schools in the nearby area. The Arrangement, a select singing group, sang extensively throughout Illinois. The group gave a Christmas concert at the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort in December and were invited back in March for an encore perfor- mance.
