EYMHASTS ERAGEEHLL GAIN GROUND Under the supervision and encouragement of Coach Nancy Hering, the girls' gymnastics team leaped to seventh place in the Conference meet. Carolyn Devine swung into second place on the compulsory bars and Connie Weber also mounted a second on the compulsory beam. Three girls qualified on the District for the first IHSA girls state gymnastics meet. junior Diane Scrivner and Freshman Carolyn Devine qualified on the beam. Sophomore Laura Bierut qualified on the bars. BILLS SPIKE 5516585855 'ULIB The Varsity and junior Varsity Volleyball teams sparked their way to splendid season. The Varsity team had a total of 13 wins and 5 losses. The girls bumped into a second place in Division and Districts, and third place in Conference competition. Superb player, senior Pam Klein made All-Conference for the second year in a row. The lunior Varsity also had a spectacular season of 7 wins and 3 losses. The athletes spiked a second place in Division play.
