1 54 l 1 1 BELL' - E EZ 355080 IN STATE Twinkling eyes and long awaited grins covered the faces of the players as the team victory was announced. RMHS's first archer team topped off the season by winning first place in conference and district, and moving on to second place in state. Confidence was the key which opened the door to the team's vic- tory. The only thing the players needed to do was to prove themselves. With the help of their coach Ken Bates and the enthusiasm of the students, that's exactly what they did. With most of the juniors retur- ning next year, including state champ Maria Recker, there is no doubt that the Mustangs will win first place in state next season. State champ Maria Recker hopes to move on to the Olympics.
