Throughout the month RMHS, in conjuction with eight other schools in District 214, scheduled activities in which students as well as teachers displayed their talents in the areas of Fine and Practical Arts. Projects ranged from metal sculpture to theatrical scenes of historical events. Arts Unlimited's goal was to broaden people's knowledge of the origins and functions of arts and crafts. Only a couple of one point losses and a few close calls by the officials kept the team from advancing further. The team's success was due mainly to the joint ef- forts of many outstanding players. All area-all conference-player Gary Adams was the leading rusher on the team with 738 yards. All conference teammate Rick Sutton was next with 716 yards. Senior quarterback Dennis Drolet completed 14 of 58 passes for 233 yards. Senior Ken Cooper caught 8 of those passes for 115 yards. Two offensive linemen also made the all con- ference team, Dave Molge and Bob Lamick. The team as a whole gained 2,120 yards, 1668 rushing and 452 passing. On defense, all area-all conference-player Tim Jacobson had the most tackles, 134. junior Mark Rustemeyer set the record for interceptions with 5. All conference player Owen Hallerud recovered 3 fumbles, a team high. The Mustangs played in a tough league. Because they were also tough the Mustangs took third in the conference. Senior Quarterback Dennis Drolet passed for 233 yards this season. Outstanding kicker for the Mustangs - laime Hernandezi11D VARSITY FOOTBALL TEAM: Front Row- P. Schweikert, R. Lobocki, M. Holthe, B.
