'HSIQID 3 '77 The big word in fashion this year is comfort. Whether in casual or dressy clothes, young people choose to be at ease in comfortable duds. This explains the popularity of rugby shirts, T-shirts, silky dress shirts, and athletic shoes among the young men. The guys are also discovering that wearing jewelry is not an activity reserved solely for girls. The rebirth of gauchos fpaired up with bootsl took the girls by storm. Gauchos combine the comfort of pants with the dressy look of skirts. The classic three-piece suit is also a favorite. Last year's jumpsuits have blossomed to a new popularity. Pretty shoes have made a comeback, as have headbands and hair combs. And in warmer weather, the feminine T-shirts are cool and comfortable. No matter what the trend, though, the blue denim tradition will always be with us. This season has been no exception: whether in jeans, jackets, jumpsuits, vests, or skirts, young people have made it clear that blue denim is here to stay.
