As in any slice of married life, though, the couples didn't just live happily ever after. Other lessons were complet- ed, including budgeting, insurance coverage, the first year of marriage, having a baby, and the fifth year of marriage. Hypothetical situations of homelife were created to examine various problems and experiences. Finally, the unit ended with a lesson on divorce. Newlyweds Mike Corrado and Barb Decker,

lrlSJ fl ld l 5 6 9 ' ' WEDDING PARTY: Dave Hill, Diane DeRosa, Gary Adams, Margaret Melroy, Mike Corrado, Barb Decker, and Rev. Tim Jacobson. Newlyweds Diane DeRosa and Dave Hill feigned their marriage before six hundred people. Once upon a time. . .and they were married and lived happily ever after. Sounds simple. Doesn't it? But, Mr. Ray Coleman's Sociology class dispels the fairy tale-like simplicity that many students believe will be their married life. Many couples are surprised to find that their problems don't vanish as the golden ring slides onto the bride's finger. Instead, newlyweds realize that marriage only magnifies the weaknesses in their relationship. The sociology students in Mr. Coleman's class had to plan their entire wedding. They sent out invitations, found dresses and tuxedos, supplied music, flowers, cake and managed the other arrangements that most couples carry out to have a wedding. Groom Mike Corrado receives an apprehensive glance from his bride-to-be, Barb Decker. Barb Decker's flower girl, Amy Rich, carries her basket of flowers with pride.

Ag performance of Let it Shine 8 Friday night. The bleachers fill as the fans trickl through the gymnasium door. About eight o'cloc the band bursts into the fight song, and purple ani white pom-pons cloud the air. The lyrics of the figh song resound, Rolling Meadows Mustangs we wi fight for victory . . . Teacher Mike Nisen introduces the starting lin up, and the game begins as 6'8 center, Kevin Kiley tips the dark orange ball. Soon, the spirit of the crow' gains momentum. A spectator can't help but becom a part of the cheering and screaming crowd R-O-W-D-I-E! That's the way we spell rowdy Rowdy! Let's get rowdy! Wooh! The rowdy Mustang fans
