This year, the administration and board of the Pales Verdes Peninsula Unified School District worked anxiously and long to ensure that the students of Rolling Hills, Palos Verdes and Miraleste High Schools would continue to have a quality educa- tion. As in previous years, a student representative was chosen to attend as a non-voting board member. Vinit Mahajan, a senior at RH, served on the board. A big question arose as the school district ' s budget reached an all-time low. The board debated over a course of action in the best interests of the students. These community representatives worked hard to preserve the quality of education and campus life that has prevailed in this district for so many years. Dr. Jack Price Superintendent of Schools

i Administration R oiling Hills High School administrators worked daily to solve problems and create an effective educational environment. Principal Howard Lawrence, along with his co-workers, continually devoted time and energy to cre- ating a positive atmosphere of learning. They worked hard to improve the curriculum, spirit, and programs offered on the campus. They also strived to lessen disciplinary prob- lems in the school.
