We had smooth sailing for eight years. We 5! had a pause tiie eight year and gave our play, Junior Detectives, XJ and took a shore leave and visited Denver, Colorado, With Mrs. Lewis as our captain. NJ When we sailed into the sea of higher education, there were yu sixteen freshmen aboard. Earl McBride transferred to another crew for our Sophomore year. Carl Thrall transferred to the S. S. Boise City for our Jr. id year and Corinne Cannon was transferred from the S. S. Guymon Ka to take his place on our crew. Bruce Colman visited aboard the first day of that year. Dodge Wilson and Phyllis Milburn retired xl that year after only a few weeks aboard. Faye Helterbrand trans- ferred to the S. S. Hugoton just before the first semester was xl over. We had a pause that year to give our Junior Play, Bashfu1 L, Bertie , and another to give the Seniors a banquet. N., We started off this year with Dale Clinesmith aboard, but he NJ transferred back to the S. S. Coyville the second week of school. We had a pause again this year and gave our Senior play, Hob- goblin House . We also had a shore eave which we spent at Kirk- LJ wood Lodge, on the Lake of the Ozarks, Springfield, Missouri, kv Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We have had smooth sailing all the four years we spent aboard the S. S. Rolla Hi and have good captains charting the courses. We finished these years in fine shape and now Liz, Rene, Shel, Annie P. , Lynn Glen, Jon, Dee, Donyan, and Crudey are ready for our discharges. Some of the old crew are signing up for a few more years of Y service. Others have already signe contracts for a life time of Kd Happy work.
