Pst aaeO ands tfft SCO -19 'gi a 1-ad Class History In September of 1940 we began our school years, Mrs. Martin was our first and second grade teacher, these were our most important years until in 1948 when we took the eighth grade trip. We went to Paladura canyon Texas. Jerome and Ruth Lewis went with us as our sponsors. Then in 1949 we entered good Old Rolla High School. There were 13 in our class, Shirley Clinesmith, Joyce Presley, Wanda Pate, Alice Kraber, Verna Prock, Virgie Stout, 'Phyllis Jones, Donnie Littell, Dallas Bressler, J. D. Long, Earl Branstetter, Charles Treakell, and Loyde Hull. Mrs. Dorthy Milburn was our sponsor, we had a lot of fun at our parties and initiation. We started in the sophomore year with only 11 of us as Charles Treakell and Loyde Hull quit. Bill Wilson was our sponsor. At the beginning of our Junior year we had only 10 in our class, Earl Branstetter had quit. Mrs. W. B. Lewis was our sponsor, we had a lot of work to do this year but it was a lot of fun fixing for the banquet and having our Junior play. Finally 1951 and 52 rolled around when we became Seniors. We now had a class of 9 as Virgie Stout got married at the last of the Junior year and quit school. Mr. Olin Wilson was our sponsor. We went to New Orleans on our Senior trip.
