FRONT ROW: David Dailey, Presidentg John Stoner, Reporter. SENIOR CLASS HI TORY In the fall of 1952, fourteen green Freshmen entered our first year of high school at Roll. They were Evelyn Leffingwell, Christena Helm, Crystal Dollar, Connie Dollar, Emma Jean Tomlinson, Sue Jones, Sally Hofstetter, David Dailey, John Stoner, Roscoe Ross, George Duncan, Hal Tudor, Marx Underwood, Leon Baker and Sam Bal- lenger. Our class officers were Evelyn Leffingwell, President: Marx Underwood, Vice-President, David Dailey, Secretaryg Sue Jones, Reporter. Two parties were held this year. Our class sponsor was Robert W. Jackson. The second year of high school we began with thirteen good looking students. New students were Kent Steple- ton and June Butler. The students who left our class were Marx Underwood, Leon Baker, Sam Ballenger, and Sally Hofstetter. Our class officers were David Dailey, President: June Butler, Vice-President: Roscoe Ross, Secretary and Treasurerg Christena Helm, Reporter. Our class sponsor was Mrs. Harrold Foust. We had two enjoyable parties this year. Another year has rolled around and thirteen energetic Juniors started out with a bang. Kent Stepleton left us this year. Concessions were sold at ballgames. In the early fall, eleven Juniors went with the Seniors on an eight-day tour of New York and Washington, D. C. This year we gained Allen Smith and Brian Fettig. Our class officers were David Dailey, President, Roscoe Ross, Vice-Presidentg Evelyn Leffingwell, Secretaryg Sue Jones, Treasurer: Connie Dollar, Reporter. A class play and two parties were enjoyed this year. The sponsor of our class was Mrs. Harrold Foust. Fourteen dignified Seniors, sponsored by Mrs. Harrold Foust, began their last year of high school. Two parties were given. A Senior class play was given. David Dailey was again elected Presidentg Allen Smith, Vice-President: Evelyn Leffingwell, Secretary, Connie Dollar, Treasurerg John Stoner, Reporter. We sponsored a yearbook and news- paper. During Christmas vacation one of our students, Emma Jean Tomlinson, was married and did not return. Page 9
